Thrilling
I didn't read the first two books that came before this, but I found that I could
read this as a stand alone. I may just go back and read the others. This book takes you into the world of mercenaries and Cal Winter is the being forced to be a contract killer. Winter is a lovable yet hateable character, and is the perfect medium for the story. Filled with intensive desires for revenge and manipulation, this book keeps you on the edge of your seat. I look forward to reading Adler's other work.
