The Horror of Dunblane & other tales of the Fantastic by Will Mayo

4 Stars

A look inside the mind ...

Mayo pens many grand tales of horror and interesting or fantastical thoughts in this collection of The Horrors of Dunblane & other tales of the Fantastic. I am very drawn to Mayo's work, and find it so interesting that it's not a collection of prose or short stories, but a grand collection of thoughts and ideas, as well as perspective from a very imaginative and creative mind. One of my favorites, and it is interesting to say, is "The Writing Life," which ended grandly with the words ""As he lay dangling..." It was another day in the life. Nothing more." Remarkable. I look forward to reading more by this author. I've read each one at least twice, some maybe more.
