Interesting paranormal
The story is full of vampires and witches, and Shakira's existence in this world.
This is the first book I've read by Clark, and I'm sure I'll add the next book in this Darkness & Light duo to my TBR list. This is just book one, and it peeked my interest, and was very indulgent. The story was well written but maybe falls a little too much in the template of paranormal genre, but the search for adventure in the story was there. The characters were well-rounded but need a little more depth. I did enjoy the story and the writing of Clark. I'll be reading more of Clark's stories, I'm sure.
