Wonderfully intense and scary
The Basement is a great story and very compelling. In a few short words that make up the story, the reader is able to grasp the fear of becoming and escaping the Z's (Zombies). Being taken in by Mason into the comfort and safety of his basement is all but that. Sometimes it's what's not written that is the most intriguing and this certainly fits that. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves a good undead story.
