Great Journey!

The words that caught my attention were "You’ve always been a sucker for someone else’s opinion." Which is the way that Mitch feels about himself. He has this perception that everything is all right and then, he realizes it's not. At first, I thought the extreme details of the New York streets or comparisons of other people to famous people was a bit much but then I realize it was the mind of Mitch, not the author, which makes it more realistic. The reader is brought into Mitch's mind, no matter how a little skewed, but whose mind isn't? Then the reader is brought into the story and begins to walk beside Mitch on his journey. The characters were likeable, hateable, and totally understandable. Great journey! I love a story that takes the reader on a journey and this one did.
