Great read
Life in an inner city warzone. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat as you read the pain and regret, as well as fear that guilt can do for one. Juan (aka Houdini) struggles with life and his own dignity after he is beaten and robbed. He lets that dictate how he lives his life. This story is well written and was read in one sitting. I truly felt I was side by side with Juan, even inside his head, which was not always a pleasant place to be but it was perfect for the story. Well done.
