Dinlocker is one of my favorite storytellers. Yes, I call him a storyteller rather than just a writer. He has a way of bringing the reader right into the story by his side and I love reading his work. I could practically feel the presence of the soldiers or hear the roars of the mob chants. The experiences that are brought into the story give the perfect inspiration for the writer. Completely captivating. I will continue to read his work and this just reached the top of my lists. My favorite lines ... "The woman's smile faltered, "You're a Jew? And they sent you here?" "Just Jew-ish," I stole a line from Jonathan Miller. "Not the whole hog."" Highly recommended.
