It's an amazing love story written through emails from Barbara to Toby, her husband who is out looking for treasure ... It's captivating and can be easily devoured in one sitting because of how well written it is. The writing tends to be a bit formal, even from a wife to a husband, but I found it fit perfectly within the context and format of the story. Through just one-sided emails (from Barbara to Toby), the reader gets engrossed in the story and watches how Barbara grows as a person. As you read, you wonder who benefits the most from the emails, and I find that it is Barbara, and of course, the reader. Well done. Perfectly well done.
