5 Stars Great Children's stories
Having read the stories, not in any particular order, I fell in love the great writing of Stejskal and his characters Oliver (the elegant tomcat) and Jumpy (the kangaroo). In this first collection of stories, the reader is introduced to the Oliver and Jumpy and their other friends. Oliver joyfully states "I am refined!" In the first story, they "meet" Molly the mole. In the second story, Oliver and Jumpy help a duck, named Queck and then meet his brothers. In the third story, Jumpy has her baby "Joey." The graphics also help introduce the
characters and help tell the story.
