4 Stars Intriguing and compelling

A little slow to start with, as there was a lot of back story, but as I kept reading I realized the importance. I love stories where the dialogue "shows" the story, rather than just tell and this one was that. I really enjoyed the characters and how they interacted with each other. When fear and rumors of horror turn into reality, it needs to be well-written for the reader to enjoy the story and this was that. A very enjoyable, page-turning story. This is the first book I've read of Johal's, but I look forward to more.
