Answer to my Ellipsis by Donella Dornwell

As a mother of a bipolar teenager with other developmental issues, this book full of in depth, emotional poetry was very enlightening. I read each poem several times to fully grasp the mentality and emotional strain and inspiration that mental illness can bring. "Seeing" it through the eyes and mind of a sufferer brought it to life and greatly expresses the heart of her inner self, and the illness that radiates inside of her. The poem that grabbed my attention, creating an emotional lump in my throat was "Certifiable" as she writes "only a bed with whole white sheets to rest my head and dream of the freedom that escapes me even now".
