4 stars Strong Characters
I really enjoyed this book. It drew me in from the beginning, and I continued to read clear on through to the second book (which I will also review). It is a strongly written book, and the story was very interesting. Derek takes control of the faltering life, with only the shirt on his back, and creates the rangers in order to save lives. It's a grand story, and I recommend both.
