5 stars Fantastically traumatic!
This was an amazing story about Frances, who struggles with many internal demons. Gowers writes the story well, and shows the humanity of balancing oneself. I read this book from beginning to end, totally drawn inside Gower's words. The struggle of inner and outer demons, life versus death, depression versus mania, devours the reader. Highly recommended story, and definitely very engaging, and something that can't be put down easily, even at the end.
