4 Stars Mysterious
It's a very mysterious story, and I love the suspense. The Zorka Circus draws a big crowd, but takes the children of its audience. A bloodwalker is among the performers, who are very close to one another. Sylvie needs to make a decision, and the story follows the mystery of the murders. It's a great story to follow and try to figure out what will happen next. "The idea expanded in his mind, creating a surprising revelation. Maybe if you felt one way about yourself, it was easy to imagine everyone felt that way, too." It's not all dark, as there is lighthearted humor, but it is filled with horrors and intrigued, and the story is written well. I will read more of Cain's books.
