This book had a lot of characters that were very well-developed. It was a different style of writing, and there was a little bit of back and forth storytelling about each character. Some characters were more complex than others, and some I cared for more than others, but that could be just the way the author wanted. Alexia was a little strange, and seemed slightly off, but I liked her relationship with her twin brother, Wesley. He, I really liked. The storylines intermingled and were able to leave room for wondering what happens in book 2.
