Elsewhere by Meghan McDonnell

Writer: ABSRABSR

4 Stars Another installment of Meghan's Journals

It's the sequel journal to Limbo, and Elsewhere follows the path of the journals of Meghan. Reading a journal can almost seem like it is invading a person's privacy, even if that person shares it with the world. The journals of Meghan are extremely insightful and interesting. She not only writes about what has happened, but her views of the world. Her feelings, her take on music, her insight into the world. I was really impressed with her writing and writing style, and I can see how this may be cathartic or healing for her. Writing is an art form, and no one thinks of it when they write a journal or diary, they concentrate on thoughts, feelings and happenings. Her words, "I’m frightened of this world right now. But I’m also fascinated and I hope I can shake off my fear long enough to learn more about it," stood out to me, and I'll always remember them.
