4 Stars Great Story!
I am always captivated by a story that opens with its own glossary. It shows the creativeness of the author, and this story definitely did that. When I read an author's work for the first time, I gain their writing style and the insight into the journey that they like to bring in the reader. It also helps me decide if I would read their work again. Bennett definitely has a style. Her characters are deep and when the setting starts out as Purgatory, it brings a whole new depth into the characters. A sunless depth. I like this story and am honored I was asked to review it.
