4 Stars Thrilling story!
This story definitely lives up to its title. It is mighty. It's not another post-apocalyptic story. Well, it is, but it is definitely unique and very creative. I've never read any of Denney's work before, but I definitely will look for more of his work! Denney's writing is amazing and the environment pulls the reader right into the middle of the story. The darkness is balanced perfectly, and the sense of terror is unyielding. I really enjoyed the story, and things are not as they seem, which is a great story builder. Evil spirits and humanity are at a war and it will keep you guessing until the end.
