The Devil's Lieutenant by Shervin Jamali

Absolutely thrillingly-fantabulous!

First, this story was well written. It has been in my TBR list for a little while now, and when I finally got to it, it was worth the slow-down to sit and savor the story, savor each word. Good and evil. Yes. It was full of that. You get that from the magnificent title of the book. It was thought-provoking, intense, dark, but yet very engaging for this reader. Filled with twists and a totally unexpected wrap up to the story. If you read this, be prepared to read it from start to finish, even rereading lines and pages to make sure you don't miss a thing. It's not a predictable good versus evil story, or even a character explore the dark side. Michael is drowning and there may be only way for redemption. A definite story to read again.
