Filled with suspense and romance
This is the first book I've read of Bawden-Davis, and the writing creates a beautiful and amazing story. I like the premise of the story, where Jesse is in entangled with the cartel during his investigation for that one major story, and then dances with romance with an old flame, which has yet to burn out. Danger, action, romance, and suspense. This read was definitely a page-turner. The cover doesn't do it justice, but gives a nice insight into what could definitely be paradise.
