Something drags the reader in...

From word one, this book brings the reader into the middle of this drama. Well,

it's one of those books that you either get or you don't, and I definitely got it. After chapter one, I was hooked and couldn't put it down. It's well written, and writing about comedians and writing their jokes, is not always easy. Not everyone understands a "written" joke or humor, and some take it too literally. Giambrone has a way with words and telling a story, and this story works. Something about it, just works.
