A sad moment in history
This book is a time line account of the days that led up to and after JFK's
death. Wherever possible, transcripts of recordings and news reports are made in this book. The paperback copy that I have, also has a CD accompanying it for the audio version of the book. This happened before I was born, but reading the book, living those moments that I missed, but my grandparents, my parents lived through can be shakenly nostalgic and sad. This was always told as a pivotal moment in time, and this Newseum book tells just that. Ending with two funerals. One glorious, historical funeral of JFK, and the other, with only reporters as pallbearers for that lone gunman.
