A great sequel

Having read the first book, "Lunacy's Core", I was excited to read the sequel. I

think that the second book could be read as a standalone, but when you can read the first one first, do it. Some things make sense that help with this story. A circle of friends with a lot of drama, and references to the past. The past haunts and can affect the future, but what's going on in the present is also something to contend with. Edwards writes a great story and its worth the read
