Well written and dramatic
This is one of those powerful stories that you won't soon forget. Enter the
world of schizophrenia from the point of view with the one suffering. It's not just about the mental illness accompanied by paranoia, but it adds to dealing with loss. He loses people close to him, especially those who don't want to deal with him or his illness. Suddenly, he has something worse to deal with, and he does. It's written so wonderfully dramatically that it makes the reader wonder, along with Brendan, as to what is real and what is not. He has a war to fight, and it's in his head. A grand story of struggle and loss, and overcoming delusions.
