Enter new twists
This one flows perfectly from the last one (as this is book 8), but the story
continues to grow. Any reader will best gain insight if they read the novellas from the first one (almost human series 1) and continue on. I like the way Nowak paints a great story. There is a new insight into the usually closed character of Cain. He's powerful and the main vampire, usually in control, but something opens him up. It's a great continuing series of series, within a larger series.
