Seize the darkness

Any book with the word "blood" in the title, will not only gain my attention, but also hope there is a lot of intense darkness but with a proper balance between horror, evil, and lightness. Yes, sometimes you just need that little bit of light to help deal with darkness and horrors of evil that are penned within an intense and magnanimous story. There is a touch of humanity in this well-written plot, that brings the characters into the darkest of nightmares. This story keeps you on that edge, wondering what's to come next and while also afraid of what will happen next. Not for the faint of heart, that's for sure.
