Terrifying
This book is one of the more terrifying books of the Cross series. The Wolf is still out there, and so many have "claimed" to be him. It takes a lot to finally catch the mysterious, and inhuman Wolf, as all his soldiers are only pieces of the grand puzzle of destruction. It's a powerfully written book and shows another side to Cross, and how he hates to lose, especially his family. He continues to try to hold it all together. Cross is one of those characters that will last forever, and he practically comes to life. It's no wonder Patterson and Cross are so popular and loved.
