Interesting read

This story is set an interesting and spiritual book, that bring in Hinduism as a basis for living. The characters are lively and have a great connection and sense of community with each other. There were some parts that were hard to follow for me, as I probably didn't have quite the grasp on the culture, but I didn't let that deter me from finishing this book. I felt it was written well, and showed a lot of emotion and self-peace. It may have started off slow, but the story ended strong, and was well worth the slower pace of the story. Some stories need to take their time, and this book was one of those where the pace fit the story.
