The Petulant Owl and Even More NonSuch Poems by Florence Remmer

Magical and nonsensical!

I thoroughly enjoyed this children's book of poetry. Remmer is a remarkable teller of children's stories, each poem tells a story of its own. One of my

favorite's is "A blush of shame." The rhymes are grand and make you smile, and you don't have to be a child to enjoy it. What makes it more fun is to also read it aloud and listen to the sing-song voice that each poem brings. Magical, indeed!
