Intergalactic budding romance
It's a cross between sci-fi and romance, and it has some grand battles. Jarr-o wins a challenge, and the only payment was a human female. Jarr-o has a great strength and is an intense character, but it felt like there could've been a better strength within Cara. The two had some chemistry, but Cara doesn't seem like she was equal, even after their relationship builds. The story has action and adventure, but is missing a few key elements that would've made Cara something, someone better. However, I did enjoy the story. I look forward to more stories from this new author.
