Suspenseful crime thriller
I am a big fan of crime novels, and the best authors can spread out the pieces and allow their crime-fighter, in this case, Detective, to put the pieces together. This author has done that, remarkably well. Yes, there are a few pieces that are predictable, but even life can be predictable. The author sets a stage for a tanglement of cases and suspense as Detective Crawford must solve the case, while dealing with his personal life. It's a great tale that keeps the reader on the edge of the seat, and wanting to read the book in one sitting. I look forward to more stories from this new author.
