A wonderful sequel
In the first book, the readers were introduced to Alec and Desiree, and now, we get to know their child, Myah. The prologue reminds us that this is no ordinary connection. This is a romance about the undead, and the inhibitions of the undead. Myah is just realizing who she is, and she is "saved" by Oscar. Another great story from Lavender, and it doesn't take away from the first story, while creating a new story for new characters, and new adventures. It's about discovering oneself and being truthful. It may be a vampiric romance, but it's more than just that. It's not a typical vamp-romance, and I like that about this story.
