I was transported to Shanghai!
Yes, one of my favorite authors, and yes, sometimes, they are not all perfect. But this one ... I can't help but fall in love with Dinlocker's storytelling all over again. Each time I sit to read his words, his stories, I find myself engrossed so deeply, and this time, I was transported to Shanghai. A mystery of secret coded messages, with the Chinese government trying to take over. God even steps in to create the connection between Kate and Pete, but he doesn't need to intervene, since it's already there. I love this story from beginning to end. Not just the story but the words that flow across the page, the intrigue, the humor, and the great characters. Highly recommended.
