The Returno to the Inferno by Luigi Enrico Pietra d'Oro

An interesting conclusion

It's an epic poem that takes from Dante's Inferno (using the same structure that Dante did), and since I just recently read Dante's work, this book fit right into my memory of that epic poem. It's one of those stories that will bring you in, with the language, the format, and the overall writing talent of Luigi. "but hold your tears for what is to come." Full of humor, and yet, self-discovery and reflection, this story brings the reader on a gentle and unusual journey. You don't have to be familiar with Dante's "The Divine Comedy" to read this, but it may make you want to brush up on the classic.
