Enjoyable Read
Werkema writes a collection of poems she calls "Just Wondering." It's a great and fun collection of poems, that children can enjoy. The graphics are interesting and fit their placement near the story. I enjoyed the poem "The Boy in the Picture" very much, and continued to enjoy each story. What I really liked about that one particular poem is that even though I am not the demographic reader of who the book was intended for, anyone can relate to many of the poems. The Boy in the Picture shows a history of parents, or grandparents being as they were once children. I look forward to reading more of Werkema's work.
