A seductive YA gothic romance
This is an interesting story about Soleil that takes place in the 1870s. It's charming in that gothic way, that is geared more to young adults. There is a uniqueness that brings the story to life, and Portera writes a good story. There could be a little more depth and back story, but the story itself is intriguing. It brings the reader on an adventure of the heart along with something that could make you cringe or scream out loud. I like the horror aspect of the story, but it could be a little more terrifying, but not maybe for the intended audience. A good story.
