Romantic and Endearing
Love on Lido Key is the first book by West that I've read. I like a good romance, and I like it when it doesn't follow the stereotypical romance trope. First, Janie, the main character was easy to like, and also feel her angst over the loss of her husband. Second, enter in her next love. There is an unwritten chemistry between the two, and the writing for their encounters isn't forced. Their love story is more than just that, it's something that they need to hold on to as they get through the obstacles in their lives. West writes a great love story, and I look forward to more from her pen.
