Filled with secrets and betrayal!
I've read a lot of Travis's work in the past, and I am always honored to read another story. Travis's pens a good story with The Awakening. There are many different layers and levels to the story, bringing in Jess's backstory as well as what's going on now. There is an unwritten connection between Jess and David, which gave a great dynamic and interest to the story. Yes, the end leaves the reader hanging, but just enough to pick up the book that comes next.
