Wonderfully told

Schmidt pens a grand children's story in Babushka is Homesick. I read the first book in the Babushka series, and enjoyed it. This is another grand story by Schmidt. This story is a read that doesn't just tell a story, but it's about sharing memories and missing home. Babushka realizes how much she misses home once she visits her homeland. I liked reading this story, and learning about her past and her present, which gives the reader not just a grand journey, but shows that home is where the heart is. A great book to read as an adult or a child, especially as you can read the words and practically fall into the story, listening to Babushka. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author. Babushka is Homesick is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.
