Gritty and Raw

Henderson pens an interestingly powerful story in Career Criminal. This is the first book that I've read by this author, and I definitely see a well-written story. This story itself revolves around "Pretty Boy" and how he wants to go in another direction, other than going back to prison. It's a powerful and gritty story, and it brings the reader in, not wanting to let go. Drugs, gangs and just being caught up in a life that is too familiar, and maybe too familiar to escape. A definite page-turner, and a highly recommended read. I look forward to reading more by this author.
