Beautifully complicated
Downing pens a wonderful first story in Catch a Falling Star. I've read Downing's second story in the Shooting Stars Series. This one introduces the series, and maybe I should read them in order, but I enjoyed this just as much as the second book. Downing is a great writer, and can definitely tell a story. This story is intense and raw, and complicated, as life is when it throws terrorism and mystery in the mix. I like Downing's writing style, and how the story brings the characters together, which have a lot of depth. I look forward to reading more by this author. This read is definitely recommended by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.
