The continuing series
Van Natta writes a great story with Dire Wolf Wanted, as it's a great addition to the Ice Age Shifters series (this is book 4). I've read the ones that came before it, and each one tells a great story, and this is no exception. The dire wolf is the main character and has a great connection with other unique shifters. The relationships are survival dependent and it brings the reader into the "underworld" of the slave trade of shifters. It's a great story, and I enjoyed the honor of reading more of Van Natta's work. Every work she does is an adventure in magic and fantasy, and the exploration of survival.
