What an informative title in Hot Spots: Turn Your Enterprise Risk Management Practice Into a Key Driver of Business Performance by Douglas M. Brown. I may read and review books but I did understand this book written by Dr. Brown. I used to work in the corporate world, and have been a project manager more times than I can count. This book gives a lot of information about incorporating risk management. Not just at one level, but at the different stages of the project. This will aid in project's success, and can help alleviate manager's issues with the project failing. By determining what risks could happen, if a decision was made one way, can determine if the risk is high enough to go in another direction, or continue on course. All parties involved in the project, should do their own risk assessment. I encourage those who work as project managers, and other management staff, to read this book. Dr. Brown is an expert in the ways a business can fail as well as succeed. It is indeed beneficial to any project to look at the "hot spots" before moving forward, or even scrapping the project. Hot Spots: Turn Your Enterprise Risk Management Practice Into a Key Driver of Business is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading more titles by this author.
