Expert advice from an expert

McLain pens a very important title in Home Away from Home: A guide to the survey process and living with long term care. I have read work from this author before, and I really enjoyed it. This is the first non-fiction book of hers that I've read, and it was extremely informative by providing tools for best deciding how to go about long-term care. It's often a subject that doesn't come up that easily, and by the time that it does, it's when someone is on the verge of making that decision. I know tha McLain is a retired nurse, so it comes from someone who knows about it. It's not an easy decision to make but this book gives the reader something to think about, and to know that they are not alone. Many times its someone who needs to make the decision for a parent, and sometimes, someone has to make it for themselves, or even their children. I trust the information in this book, and it is an easy read for anyone who wants to prepare ahead as well.
