Enjoyed this story!
What an interesting story in Fearghus Academy: October Jewels by I.O. Scheffer. This is the first time I've read a story from this author before. I really enjoyed the writing style, and I like reading young adult fantasies and adventures. I liked this book, and the stories within the stories. It's London, 1864, and Anna finds herself in an incredulous situation. There is a lot going on in the Fearghus Academy, and there are truths, and secrets, and of course, enemies. It's a great world that Scheffer built, and it is out of this world, literally. It's a grand adventure, and Anna finds her empowerment, and the strength to be herself, in the middle of a chaotic world. This author brings the story to life. The characters had a lot of depth and were very realistic. This author has a great imagination and I'm glad it's being shared with stories. It is a very well-written plot, and I enjoyed it. This story was very unpredictable. It's literally out of this world! I hope to read more books by this author. Fearghus Academy: October Jewels is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review.
