Grand Read

Almond pens a grand story in Initiated to Kill. There is a connection between the past and the present, and even though it was a pretty long story, the pace the story ran was evenly balanced. It does seem that there are different character's POV within the story (as a first person) and sometimes it can be a bit confusing as who is doing the narration. The premise of the story worked, and the writing was clear and well-though out. "I stared down at the world below me. Everything was unfamiliar. Everyone I loved was either dead, or beyond my reach." I look forward to reading more by this author.
