Great Read
Isaacs pens a unique historical romance story in INTO THE STREETS: An Antiwar Love Story. I haven't read anything from this author before, and I really enjoyed this story. The characters were unique and fit the time, where it’s not just about love, but the war and emotions around them. There is a great chemistry between the characters, and a depth that makes them realistic and flawed. A very well-written story, and I enjoyed it. This story was intriguing and kept the reader guessing. The author's technique of intense characters and great time period writing is a gift and shows knowledge of the era. It's a great story to follow and try to figure out what will happen next. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author. This book is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.
