Sweet romance with a bit of a twist
Lange pens a sweet story in Joining Hearts For Christmas. I haven't read work from this author before, and I enjoyed this story. In her world, Lady Charlotte is the daughter of a duke, and she must get married, love or not. It's a unique take on a romance story, but it adds dimension, so it's not just love at first sight or whatever. Lady Charlotte's father gives her an ultimatum. She is definitely a strong and almost defiant character, but no matter how she feels, she knows what she needs to do. It's an easy YA novella to read, but it has details, and is an interesting story. This author is a good storyteller. Joining Hearts For Christmas is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author.
