Jonathan Koven - Palm Lines

4 Stars

Wonderful collection

This collection of poetry by Koven is a wonderful work of words. The words almost flow across the page. I enjoyed reading this collection and entering the mind of this prolific poets. Such a grand read. My favorite was Eighteen which starts with "Try hard to remember to drink the greenest stars, climb school rooftops, inject caffeine from night vespers, your solitude a syringe..." I liked this so much, I read many of the poems twice. It’s a great collection of poetry by this author, who has quite the descriptive mind. I look forward to reading more by this author. Palm Lines is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.
