Great Read
What a great romantic story in What Happens in Chicago by Liz Crowe. I read Whatever Happens in Denver and enjoyed it, and I liked this one as well. In Chicago, the reader mets Sloane and Michael, and they just figure that their encounter is a hot, spur of the moment, one night hookup in Chicago. But as most romance stories go, there are complications, such as family responsibilities, and the thoughts of each other, while trying to get back to normal. I really enjoyed the characters, both are tortured in some way, and use "Chicago" as their release, but it could be something more, if things went right, but when does that happen. It's a fun, hot and steamy, unpredictable boy hooks up with girl for one night, and yes, it is complicated. I am a definite fan of this author! The characters had a lot of depth and were very realistic. This author is a great storyteller. The author brings the reader on a superb journey. It shows that romance isn't dead, even if it's fiery force of nature. Definitely an unpredictable story, my favorite kind! What Happens in Chicago is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review.
